bailey jack is making her own way as an artist, enjoying the freedom of expression that she has found in painting. One of the hardest working artists we have ever met, she is always enthusiastically exploring new ideas, trying new materials, learning something from everyone she meets.
Her work gathered fame when a painting called “Moon Doggie” was chosen for a house on HGTV. There followed an intense demand for doggies trapped in the moonlight, all painted with a great deal of affection. bailey says the dogs only exist in her mind, but dog lovers can see that they are in her heart as well. Cats, birds & other critters also reside there. They all find their way into bailey's art, whether home alone in a comfy chair or in the arms of St. Francis.
Bouquets of flowers and casual interiors evoke a relaxed sense of Southern charm in bailey's work. On a recent road trip bailey became fascinated with the farms along the way, so her work is now populated with barns and cows and pigs.
bailey’s goal for her art is to bring joy to the viewer, the same joy she feels in creating it.
